The first »Italian leg« of the »From the Eyes to the Heart« mission took place in Naples. This initiative by ACP Italia combines medical aid with social engagement and is aimed particularly at people on the margins of society.
Following the mission in Ivory Coast—which included 800 specialist examinations, 20 eye surgeries, and the distribution of 300 pairs of glasses—the project has now continued in Italy.
The day of action in Naples lasted about twelve hours. During this time, 200 free initial eye examinations were conducted for the neighborhood’s residents. The initiative not only provided concrete medical assistance but also sent a message of care and appreciation to people who are often overlooked.
