In the Philippines, we work with Vision Help International Care Foundation, which was founded by our missionary Carsten Aust. Philippine law requires a local organization to carry out social projects.

On February 17, the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development honored our partner organization as the best NGO in the entire country in 2020 in an online ceremony due to the pandemic.

Carsten Aust comments, “I am very pleased about the recognition. My colleagues are truly dedicated to our projects. Without them, my hands would be tied. The award belongs to them as much as it does to my wife and those who support our ministry with their donations and prayers.«

The projects led by Carsten and his wife Mercy in the Philippines are an example of the outstanding work that AVC does together with its national and international partners.
