God’s Word in Tem
N’tchourou lies in eastern Togo, just a stone’s throw from the border with Benin. This is where Kodjo* lives, a young man who has settled in the village as a farmer. His days belong to the fields. And once a week, to the radio.
It all started with a single broadcast about the Word of God, aired in Tem, his native language. Since then, the young farmer hasn’t missed a week. »I want to better understand the spiritual world around me,« Kodjo explains.
What he hears is changing him. With every sermon, his trust in God grows stronger. »The spiritual battle is very hard,« the farmer says. »But through these sermons, I have become a true disciple of Jesus.«
Many listeners share Kodjo’s experience. A young woman from the Bafilo area says the program is her favorite, precisely because it is often broadcast in Tem. Where God speaks in the language of the heart, faith can take root.
